Dear Parents,
We are very excited to begin this new year
of Parish School of Religion at St. Pius X Church.
We as catechists and you as parents, along with the grace
of God, form a partnership that models, in word & deed, the
values of Christ and His Church.
Christ taught His apostles what He received
from the Father. The
Apostles in turn, taught this divine word and now we as parents
accepted this responsibility to catechize our children when we
brought them to be baptized.
You are the first educator or catechist of your child!
You teach by actions and witness by the way you live your
Christian life. The
church promises to help you as you foster you children(ren)’s
faith.
We at St. Pius X Church
are here to help you!
Your participation with your children in
their spiritual formation at home is such an important element
in their religious education.
We truly admire the time you spend each week with your
children talking about God, Catholicism, and Christianity.
Our children gather in the school
classrooms for PSR on Monday
evenings from 7:00pm until 8:15pm.
We have realized over the years it is very
important for these children to faithfully attend both Mass
and Religious
Education classes.
