Uniform Policy
Dress Code
All Students K-6: Uniform jumpers, skirts, pants and shorts are to be purchased from Schoolbelles. Pants and shorts MUST be purchased from Schoolbelles or the J C Penney uniform catalog. This is to insure unity of color and style.
Girls K-6
Uniform: Regulation green and blue plaid uniform jumper for grades K-4; regulation green and blue plaid skirts for 5-6. Uniform must be two inches above the knee or longer.
Blouse: White short sleeved or long sleeved blouses with a collar (can be button down). Plain white collared knit shirts - long or short sleeved are permitted when wearing shorts or slacks. Crew or turtlenecks are prohibited. Only the top button may be unbuttoned. A plain white undershirt may be worn under the blouse. Shirttails must be tucked in neatly and completely at all times.
Pants: Regulation uniform navy dress pants may be worn. If there are belt loops, a belt must be worn.
Boys K-6
Uniform: Regulation uniform navy blue dress pants are to be worn. If there are belt loops, a belt must be worn
Shirt: White dress shirt or collared knit shirt - long or short sleeved. Crew necks and turtlenecks are prohibited. Only the top button may be unbuttoned. Shirttails must be tucked neatly and completely in at all times. A plain white undershirt may be worn under the uniform shirt.
BOYS AND GIRLS 7-8 – ALL PANTS AND SHIRTS MUST BE PURCHASED FROM SCHOOLBELLES.
Pants: Khaki uniform shorts or dress slacks must be worn. Shorts may not be rolled at the cuff. Uniform shorts must be appropriate length - to the top of the knee, no longer or shorter. If there are belt loops, a belt must be worn.
Shirt: Green collared shirt - long or short sleeved with St. Pius X logo must be worn. A plain white undershirt may be worn under the uniform shirt. Shirttails must be tucked in neatly and completely at all times.
Boys and Girls K-8
Sweatshirt: Hunter Green with St.
Pius X logo in white lettering. These sweatshirts may be purchased from
Schoolbelles or St. Pius X School PTG.
Eighth grade may wear their class sweatshirts.
Sweater: Plain hunter green cardigan or pullover. Only school uniform sweater or sweatshirt may be worn during the school day.
Shoes: Dress shoes are optional. Athletic/gym shoes are permitted if in good condition. Dress boots may be worn. Sandals and clogs are not permitted.
Socks: Plain white or hunter green socks must be worn at all times. Tights and leggings are prohibited.
Shorts: Regulation shorts may be worn from the opening day of school until October 15th and during the month of May.
Name Tags: Name tags are part of the uniform and must be worn at all times of the school day. Any name tag lost, defaced in any way, or not in good condition must be replaced immediately at the student's expense.
Grooming: Good school grooming indicates that NO make-up (including nail polish & Acrylic Nails) may be worn. Writing on the body and clothing is prohibited at all times. Hair must be kept neat and clean. Clothes must be clean. "Fads" deemed improper for school by the Principal and staff will not be permitted. Hats are to be worn outside the building only.
Gym Attire
Shorts: Long, green mesh shorts with a small white St. Pius logo on the left leg.
Shirt: White t - shirt with small green St. Pius X logo on the left chest.
Note: Gym shorts and shirts can only be purchased through the PTG. On gym day, the gym uniform may be worn under the regular uniform.
Out Of Uniform Guideline K-8

Must have sleeves• No sandals or open heels or toes
• Only appropriate sayings and logos on clothing. No words on backside of pants, shorts or skirts.
• No rips/tears in clothing
• Hats only outside of the building
• No face painting or body writing
• Shorts must be appropriate, decent length as determined by the administration
• Shirts must completely cover stomachs and not be too revealing
