St. Pius X School library has been very blessed to be able to add more books to our collection. This will allow the children to use the AR program more effectively and allow all children to enjoy more variety in reading.
We continue to add books throughout the school year with our Birthday Club. With this program we are able to add about 200 new titles each year. Information about this program will be available soon after school starts. We thank all of our past contributors and look forward to helping not only the students but the school celebrate their birthdays this year.
We are also pleased at the number of parents who volunteer on a regular basis. By helping to check out books, file books and materials and other weekly chores, our library can be a wonderful and exciting place. We also want to thank the wonderful storytelling parents who donate their time and expertise in storytelling. It is always enjoyable to have you in our library.
As we begin this new school year we encourage everyone, students, teachers and parents to spend time reading. It can take you places you can only dream about!
