St. Pius X in pictures...
6th Grade Academic Team Showcase
On Saturday, December 4, St. Pius X won first place at the Sixth Grade Academic
Showcase, beating out six other local schools for the honor with an overall
score of 59.3. The Showcase consists
of individual written tests in Composition, Language Arts, Arts and Humanities,
Science, Social Studies and Math, as well as a Quick Recall tournament in which
teams compete by quickly answering questions in the above categories. In
addition to winning first place, St. Pius team members received numerous medals
in the individual categories, and the team placed first in the Quick Recall
Tournament after several nail biting rounds. Team members shown in the
