Tree Blessing Ceremony
This week,
students and faculty at St. Pius X attended a tree
blessing and planting ceremony in the school's
courtyard. Three trees were planted in the
courtyard area to reinforce the school's theme this year
of "Alive In Christ" and The Tale of Three Trees.
St. Pius' pastor, Fr. Tom Robbins, led the tree
blessing
ceremony and Steve Foltz, a
horticulturalist from the Cincinnati Zoo, explained
the background of the trees that were planted as well
as the value of trees to our environment and way
of life.
