Sarah and her dog Qutie
During the Everybody Counts program Mrs. Abeling's kindergarten classes (AM
and PM) learned a lot about children and
adults who have special needs and how they adjust to their lives. Sarah
Forsythe and her dog
Qutie visited Mrs. Abeling's classroom on Friday, March 26th.
Sarah was in a swimming accident and as a result is paralyzed from
the waist down.
She
talked to the children about how Qutie (her dog) helps her do everyday
things.
