Miss King has been teaching at St. Pius X since 2011.

Some interesting things about Miss King:

My Family:  I am an only child, with a Zoo at home. We have one dog, four cats, and a very confused parrot that meows and barks. 

My Education: Elementary School: St. Agnes High School: Notre Dame Academy  I have a BA from NKU in Elementary Education.  I will start my Masters this spring at Xavier University in Reading.

My Talents:  Creativity, Organization, Compassion

My Greatest Influence: My parents have always been my biggest cheerleaders and supporters!

Favorite Catholic saint:  St. Catherine of Alexandria, she was the Saint I chose to portray in grade school for All Saints Day.  I learned about her strength and willingness to stand up for truth and justice.  I found her life inspirational and never forgot her story.

My Favorite Color: Plum & Sage

My Favorite Hobbies and/or Vacation: I love to travel and would like to do more of it.  I enjoy scrapbooking, shopping, reading, and spending time with the people that I love.  I would like to take photography classes someday and learn to play guitar/piano.

My Favorite Singers:   Everything!

My Favorite Holiday:   Christmas

My Homework Philosophy: Homework is an opportunity to practice what we’ve learned.

Why I like teaching at St. Pius X:  I feel a real sense of community here at St. Pius and enjoy the chance to share my faith.

Favorite Sports and/or Teams:  I enjoy watching volleyball and baseball.  I would have to say my favorite team will always be my home team, the Reds.

Favorite food:  Anything chocolate or something my dad makes!
