She likes to write poetry.
Her favorite Catholic Saint is St. Francis of Assisi, Patron of animals, ecologists, and merchants.
Her homework philosophy: Reinforcement is good as long as it isn't overwhelming.
"When she was in school" she had to "...work hard!"
For her, the students are the most enjoyable part of being a teacher.
She considers her most outstanding achievement to be her selection by a graduating 2002 high school senior as the educator who had the strongest influence over her academic career, and subsequent recognition at the 2002 Champions of Learning Reception.
The best gift she ever received is her family.
Her favorite book is I Know This Much is True by Walley Lamb; her favorite movie is Fried Green Tomatoes.
The UK Wildcats are her favorite sports teams.
Her best vacation memory is hiking in Alaska with her family.
Her favorite animals are her two dogs, Bessi and Rocki.
