My Family: My husband’s name is Brian. We have 3 children: Cory (13), Ashley (10), and Luke (almost 1).
My Education: I am a graduate of Northern Kentucky University—Bachelor in Science (Elementary Education K-4) and I have a 5th Year Teaching Degree. Eventually, I would like to obtain my Principal certificate to make a change to administration.
My Talents: I think that my special talent is working with young children and making them feel at home in the classroom. Many of them forget who I am and sometimes say “Mom…I mean Mrs. Abeling”
My Greatest Influence: My greatest influence is my mom. She has taught me many life skills that I hope I can share with those around me.
Favorite Catholic saint is the Blessed Virgin Mary. She is an inspiration for all!

My Favorite Hobbies: Shopping, photography and eating out.
My Favorite Singers: Just about anyone from the 1980’s—John Mellankamp, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, The Outfield, etc…..
My Favorite Holiday: Halloween…BOO
My Homework Philosophy: Only 15 minutes per grade level. So Kindergarten should only spend 15 minutes on homework. Put it away if it takes longer!! There is always another day.
Why I like teaching at St. Pius X: I like teaching at St. Pius X because it gives me a chance to share my faith with the people around me. I get to talk about God and all of his glory with my students and watch their eyes light up with each lesson I teach. It also gives me a chance to see my own children daily and watch them grow in their faith.
Favorite food - anything Italian.
