Mrs. Christensen has been teaching at St. Pius since 1984.

My Family: Husband – Ron, two married sons, two grandchildren and one on the way.

My Education: St. Pius X, Villa Madonna, EKU, XU (masters)

My Greatest Influence: My grade school teachers – the Sisters of Saint Benedict.

Favorite Catholic saints are Saint John Bosco and Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton.

My Favorite Color is green.

My Favorite Hobbies and/or Vacation: Definitely reading and reading on the beach is even better; also enjoy crocheting and crafts

My Favorite Singers: The 60’s and 70’s – Beach Boys, Chicago etc.

My Favorite Holiday is Christmas.

My Homework Philosophy: It is necessary and should always be completed on time.

Why I like teaching at St. Pius X: I love the students, the great support of the parents and the Christian atmosphere.

Favorite Sports and/or Teams: I have always rooted for the Reds and the U of L Cardinals but now my grandson’s teams are my favorite!

Favorite food: Still fried chicken and mashed potatoes with lots of gravy
