Mrs. Halpin has been teaching at St. Pius X since 1982.
A few interesting things about Mrs. Halpin:
My Family: I have been married for 36 years. I have three children, two daughters and 1 son. They are all married, each with two children of their own – all boys!
My Education: I attended Villa Madonna high school and Thomas More College. I then received my Masters from NKU.
My Interests:
I love spending time with my grandchildren.
I really enjoy boating, reading, and vacationing.
My Greatest Influence:
My parents were my greatest influence.
They were hard-working and self-sacrificing.
Favorite Catholic saint is Saint Paul.
My Favorite Color is yellow.
My Favorite Hobbies and/or Vacation: Boating at Lake Cumberland
My Favorite Holiday is Halloween.
My Homework Philosophy:
Students
learn best when they study a little each night rather than cramming before a
test. Practicing Math a little each
night is also important to learn the key concepts.
Why I like teaching at St. Pius X:
I really enjoy working with the students and their parents.
Fourth graders are always so full of enthusiasm.
