My Family: I have been Married to Richard since 1989. I have two daughters, Cassie (15) and Maddie (13). My mom, Janis Yelton, is the author of Lesson's Learned. My dad, J. Michael Skaggs, is an author too. He has a photography book titled American's Revisited.

My Homework Philosophy: Homework is very important for 1st graders. It gives them a chance for one-on-one help with a parent.
Why I like teaching at St. Pius X: The children are so much fun. The parents are the absolute best anywhere.
