Mrs. Tumbusch has been teaching at St. Pius X School since 1995.

Some interesting things about Ms. Tumbusch:

My Education:  I attended high school at Orrville (Ohio) High and at North East High in Clarksville, Tennessee

My Greatest Influence:  My second-grade teacher.

Favorite Catholic saint is St. Francis of Assisi, Patron of animals, ecologists, and merchants.

My Favorite Color is green.

My Favorite Hobbies and/or Vacation:  My favorite hobby is designing and sewing vintage ballgowns to wear to vintage (1800-1940's themed) balls and performances.  My best vacation memory was going to Bologna, Italy and competing in a dance festival with her vintage dance company, "Forget-Me-Not".

My Favorite Singers:  The alternative pop group Barenaked Ladies

My Homework Philosophy:  It should be a meaningful and reasonable amount; it is coordinated with other teachers in the upper grades.

Why I like teaching at St. Pius X:  I enjoy building rapport with the children, and assisting them in learning to compensate for their shortcomings.

Favorite food:  Steak and Lobster

Favorite Books:  Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling

Favorite Movie:  Chariots of Fire

Best Gift Received:  A set of business cards

Favorite Animals:  I love dogs, especially shelties and collies.

Did you know?  When I was in school I got to go home for lunch!
