Mrs. Tumbusch is in her tenth year of teaching at St. Pius X School.

Some interesting facts about Ms. Tumbusch:

Her homework philosophy is that it should be a meaningful and reasonable amount; it is coordinated with other teachers in the upper grades.

The thing she enjoys the most about her job is building rapport with the children, and assisting them in learning to compensate for their shortcomings.

Her hobby is designing and sewing vintage ballgowns to wear to vintage (1800-1940's themed) balls and performances.

The best gift she ever received was a set of business cards.

Her best vacation memory was going to Bologna, Italy two years ago and competing in a dance festival with her vintage dance company, "Forget-Me-Not".

Her second-grade teacher has had the greatest influence on her life.

"When she was in school" she got to go home for lunch.

Her favorite Catholic Saint is St. Francis of Assisi, Patron of animals, ecologists, and merchants.

She attended high school at Orrville (Ohio) High and at North East High in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Her favorite movie is Chariots of Fire; her favorite books are Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling.

She enjoys music from the alternative pop group Barenaked Ladies.

She loves dogs, especially shelties and collies.

Favorite color - green.

Favorite foods - steak and lobster (!)
