As a principal, the thing she loves the most is working for the children. "Their excitement is wonderful."
Her homework philosophy: "I do not think homework is always needed."(!!!!!) Homework should be practice and completion of the day's work.
She attended high school at Villa Madonna Academy.
Her mother had the greatest influence on her life.
Among her talents, she plays the guitar and sings for liturgies at Mother of God Church in Covington (35 years and counting). She also enjoys crafting, reading, and doing service work.
She likes all types of music.
Her favorite author is Kristen Heitzman.
Her favorite animal is the giraffe. In fact, she collects them (no real ones - yet).
Her favorite sports team is the Cincinnati Reds.
The best gift she ever received was a guitar for Christmas.
Her favorite Catholic saint is St. Francis of Assisi, patron of ecologists and merchants.
"When she was in school" students were able to attend mass daily, and they NEVER had snow days.
Her best vacation memory is of her Hawaiian vacation.
She is the youngest of 10 children, and her extended family now numbers 118 members, which makes for very large family holiday gatherings.
She likes Star Trek movies, and anything with John Wayne.
Favorite colors - pink, red, and black.
Favorite foods - white chocolate; coffee.
